Well I have found humility ! It comes one tortise like step at a time! Thank God for my current Camino Angels, Mike from S. Africa, Helena from the Checz R. and Robert from England...they check on me, walk with me and wait when I just cant go on! I am truly blessed. Will write more later...gotta coffee waiting and need to shove off again. Love you all. Karin
Tortoises are more likely to make the endpoint than the hares, or so the story goes. No shame in being a tortoise!
ReplyDeleteHola,
ReplyDeleteHere is a real twist of irony or maybe more hearing what you said. Yesterday leaving NY up the hill I was wondering how you were doing when on the left of the road I saw an object and stopped to check it out. It was a gigantic (20" with thick head) snapping turtle. I have a picture of it I will try to send. Miss Ya ! Keep the faith as you can see the finish line.
Ramon
That hill at O'Cebreiro is KILLER - I remember it vividly!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and glad to see that you are carrying on--just like a true pilgrim! Miss you and looking forward to hearing all of your stories--in person! Vivian
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't realize you were walking now. Buen Camino!
