** Hornillos, Hontanas and ... **

Looking back at Hornillos, around the back of the church.
There was a show years back, with a theme song about the bluest skies being in Seattle.  I think the north of Spain, if your lucky, can beat nearly any sky any where.

Fancy digs!  Actually very comfy cots, bathrooms and certainly no lack of space!!

On towards Hontanas.

Hontanas, right after Mass and a fainting Pilgrim.  The "miracle" here, and it really was odd, all the pilgrims who stayed for Mass this Sunday morning, spoke English.  So when this couple needed comfort...it was there in spades.

Heading towards San Bol.  Yup it's that early and our shadows prove it! That large clump of trees, that's San Bol.
Coming around the corner of the tiny Alburgue, peace immediately washed over you.

It literally embraced you from the ground up.

The only sound here was birds, wind and insects.  Pure peace.

This is the spring that is reputed to heal pilgrim feet.  I'm always a bit of a sceptic, but a cool soak is not something I will ever refuse, so of course I partook.  By evening my blisters were all dried up.  Really.

Bliss!

Not sure what this tree is but it left "snow" along the sides of all the roads!

Leaving a small piece of heaven.
